I bought this for my car so that I can use the GPS on my phone and have it visible next to me. However, when I got it and actually put my phone onto it, it didn't fit. My phone had a pop socket and a pretty slim case on it and it would always budge out of the holder. Granted yes I could've bought a new case to use the stand with but to make a holder that can't hold a phone if it has an accessory on the back makes it useless to a lot of people. The holder itself was easy to put together and to mount to my car. It has a tilt mechanism and allows for pretty easy movement to angle the phone. It sits really snug and doesn't move at all. Does block the entire fan which is obvious but still a negative.The gravity holder is really cool and works really well! The downfall of this is it attaches to the vents in the car. I got this for my 1998 Wrangler. The vents don’t hold up well to the weight of this unit alone, let alone with a phone mounted on it. I was just looking for something to keep my phone visible and hands free while driving the Jeep.Very good looking and just like the pictures on here, nice design and all for the price, but YES like they say you get what you pay for, cheap price you get a cheap product. I guess I shouldn't have expected anything good for 7 buck, very flimsy and weak. it has terrible and/or better say NO grip at all once you clip it to your car vent. I was "trying" to use this holder for an iPhone 11, it only held it up for a few seconds and as soon as I started driving and hit a bit of bumps here and there it started falling. YES, I did give it a few chances and thought okay let me fix/tighten up again as far as I can tighten it but after the 5th fall I gave up, pulled into the nearest parking lot I could to find a trash can and in the trash it went, LOL. Specially since I was driving it became a bit annoying and dangerous having it fall every single time and specially did not want to end up damaging my phone because of this flimsy cell holder. NOT RECOMMENDED, invest a few more bucks guys and get a better one, trust I learned my lesson.It works great, only when I don't have my phone in it, it makes a lot of noise...Not impressed with this item. Not very sturdy. Would not recommend.This cell phone holder is perfect for my car. Holds my iPhone XR perfectly. Love the way the case arms come around my phone when it is put into the holder so I have no worries about buying a new phone because it will fit into this just fine.Like the ease of use, design and price.I would buy it again.
