June 2020 update: I wrote my last update in December 2019 and it is now June 2020. This case is still on my Note 9. Even with frequent use, the lock on the stand is juuuuuust starting to wear slightly. It has never given way when in use, the wear is only noticeable in that it has become easier to open! I would buy this case again and again. I am a phone case addict, but all my other cute protective cases remain in the drawer. It is the sturdy locking stand that makes this my favorite. And keeps it that way. If you still have a Note 9, look no further. Needless to say this would not be true if it failed to protect my phone after dozens of drops on hard hard floors!Original review: Love that this cute, sturdy case also has a locking stand, making it more secure to set up in precarious spots because it will not fall and slip off. Provides excellent drop protection also as like many other cases are starting to hit uses Incipio's brilliant raised corner design, and it fits the phone perfectly. Thanks to Incipio's innovation, which has been widely copied, the selection of protective cases, including those for the Note 9, is increasing. This now includes a few that are alsounique and quite attractive. I have several of these, but the stand on this one is the reason it is the one that is usually on my phone.
